BANDWAGON MERCHANDISE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Orders will be processed immediately without verbal confirmation. Please document in the special instructions if you require a call from us. We will only contact you if there is a problem with your order or if we have additional questions.

PAYMENT: Orders, unless otherwise specified and agreed to, are paid for 100% up front. All payments are processed by a real life person and factor in any options or discounts before your card is ran. If you would prefer to pay a 50% deposit to begin your order, full payment MUST be received before orders will be shipped. Payment can be made by check, money order, credit card, or via Paypal. Out of state checks require 5 business days to process. There is a $25.00 charge for returned checks.

You MUST specify in the special instructions if you require a 50% down / 50% on the SHIP DATE payment structure.

TURNAROUND TIMES: Due to the possibility of file problems and technical malfunctions, time sensitive jobs should be planned in advance.Turnaround times reflect an average completion time of normal orders.These times are not guaranteed.Turnaround times are quoted in working business days.Weekends,Holidays and transit times are not included. If you have a specific in-hand date that must be noted on the order form or confirmed via e.mail.

RUSH JOBS: Rush orders will incur a rush fee based on needed turnaround time and current workload and is calculated as a percentage of the order total. Bandwagon retains the right to refuse any time sensitive jobs. All rush orders must be noted when placing your order.

SHIPPING: Prices do not include shipping (unless otherwise specified). Any shipping instructions or changes may result in extended turnaround times. Bandwagon is not responsible for any loss, damage or shipping delays caused by a delivery carrier (ie: UPS, USPS).

T-SHIRT TERMS: Any and all t-shirt specifications must be listed in the special instructions field. The desired sizing must be supplied in inches on the order form but may not exceed the measurements of the file itself. If no sizing is supplied then your artwork file will be used as a reference. All issues of sizing and print locations must be cleared up prior to the apparel going to press. A lack of clear instructions may cause delays on your job. Ink color is matched within a 5-10% variance. Inks are not kept on file due to heavy turnover and reprints requiring specific color matching must provide samples from the previous run to be matched. Monitor display settings can greatly affect the color you see on screen. For specific colors please submit PMS reference numbers. Pantone Solid Coated.

ARTWORK: All artwork must be submitted at 300 dpi or in a vector format AT YOUR DESIRED PRINT SIZE. Artwork is screened and orders with artwork that is too small or poor in quality will be placed on hold for 5 business days until new artwork is received. If no artwork is received the order will be dropped out of our system at the end of the 5th business day. All artwork is printed AS-IS unless requests for touch-ups / cleanups are made. Small tasks are completed as a part of regular setup fees, but overhauls and complete cleanups are charged at $60.00 per hour.

PRINT PLACEMENT: Not all prints can be achieved through conventional screen printing. Manual printing in necessary for some over-zipper, cross seam, and collar printing. We will do our absolute best to match your requests / shirt templates but your shirts will not always look EXACTLY as they do on your computer screen in real life. With printing over seams, collars, and zippers comes issues of ink-buildup and ink not always filling in gaps right next to the seams. When printing onto the sleeve, collar, and shoulder area the print will not always be able to go as far onto the sleeve or onto the collar as you're wanting, but we will always print the image as offset as we can. We will let you know if something is impossible, but feel free to throw anything our way.

PRINT LOCATION: If you require an exact height from the collar, or from the bottom or side seam, please be explicitly clear in the special instructions field. We will do our best to accommodate your specifications but a slight variance in in height / side-to-side is to be expected. If no specifications are given your mockup file will be used for reference and a relative placement across all sizes will be used. Prints not centered side to side should have the center line denoted in the print file and mockup included with the order. A variance in side to side / height of the print across the print run (within reason, ~1”) is considered normal.

PRINTING OVER SEAMS AND COLLARS: We cannot guarantee the quality of prints when printing over raised area such as seams and collars. Typically the ink will be a bit thinner over the raised area and not fill in (cause gaps) directly beside the seam since the screen cannot conform to the shape of those areas. Bandwagon is not liable for re-prints or damages resulting from printing over seams and collars.

INK CONSISTENCY AND OPACITY: Unless specified otherwise, all orders will be printed with standard plastisol inks to achieve a smooth even print. Depending on your garment and ink color choice, your print may need an extra layer of ink for the image to look bright and opaque. Light ink colors printed on dark garments nearly always require an additional layer of ink (underbase) to appear bright and opaque on the shirt, resulting in a thicker layer of ink on the shirt. Unless specific instructions are given, we will use our best judgement as to whether multiple layers of ink will be needed for a given print, unless specific instructions are provided in advance.

INK BLEED / DOT GAIN: Whenever ink lays on top of fabric it will expand to a degree. This effect is known as dot gain. Prints with intricate fine lines will be printed with the utmost care but we cannot guarantee against ink bleed / dot gain. It is best to overcompensate on the artwork side of things and making sure that open gaps / negative space in line work images are not too small so that lines do not bleed together. NOTE: Dot Gain is especially an issue on thicker fleece items such as hoodies, joggers, etc.

VINTAGE SOFT-HAND INKS: Vintage soft-hand inks are made by reducing the solids (plastics) in regular inks giving it more of a soft-hand feel. These inks will appear faded and “vintage” on dark fabrics. These inks are also prone to fade quicker after washing to give it more of an authentic vintage look. These inks have a reduced opacity of 20-50% depending on the ink color and the color of the fabric (yellow ink on a black shirt for example has a reduced opacity of ~50%). Prints requiring bright, vibrant colors should not use vintage soft hand inks unless coupled with a discharge or soft hand underbase.

DISCHARGE INKS: Discharge inks will only work on certain types of garments dyed with reactive dyes. The following colors are typically not dischargeable:

KELLY GREEN
ROYAL BLUE
TEAL
TURQUOISE

Discharge inks are able to be color matched to a degree but exact color matching is not guaranteed. Every garment is different. Garments that have been re-dyed (e.g. Light Blue shirt re-dyed to Black) can affect the color tone of the pigments in the ink.

Discharge Inks are only softened after the initial laundering of the garment.

CMYK / FULL COLOR PRINTING: This method works best on white and light colored garments. When doing 4 color process onto a dark garment a discharge base is required and CMYK overprints tend to lose their contrast depth. Blacks on a discharge white base do not appear to be solid black, but more of a really dark gray. Colors will vary from the original file when screen printed. As such exact color matching is not available on 4 color process prints.

HOODIE PRINTING: We use specialty plattens made by the fine people at Action Engineering when printing over the zipper of a zip-up hoodie. We also spray adhesive in the pockets if the print covers that area to ensure minimal moving. With all of that being said, printing over the zipper / pockets will never yield a perfect print. Because these items cannot lay flat there may be gaps / cracks in the ink directly on top / beside the zipper, directly beside the zipper housing, and on top of / beside pocket seams. We advise that you select appropriate artwork when doing hoodie prints. A distressed graphics works well to hide the inconsistencies in the print, or inserting a gap between graphics going across the chest and/or pocket area will avert these issues of ink buildup / gaps. We advise to not do big block lettering or large areas of ink directly on top of the zipper / pocket. We are not liable for gaps or cracks in the ink due to the nature of the screen-printing process. When something cannot lay flat the print results are not guaranteed.

OVER/UNDERRUNS: Due to the nature of screen-printing mis-prints are a normal part of the process. Because of this there is normally an allowance of -5% on the ordered sizecount. IF YOU REQUIRE AN EXACT COUNT (an order of shirts all for specific individuals) this MUST BE NOTED SOMEWHERE WITH THE ORDER. Orders requiring an exact sizecount will be billed an extra amount based on the order size to cover extra blanks necessary to account for mis-prints. You will only be billed on the back-end for the items you receive. Any order shipping with a shortage will have its invoice revised and credit applied.

STICKER TERMS: Stickers are subject to a 15% variance in color from the original file (due to large runs / CMYK correction). All stickers come with a black and white printing on the vinyl backing free of charge. If no back artwork is supplied with the order Bandwagon reserves the right to advertise. If a plain white backing is desired please list this in the special instructions field. Sticker orders are exempt from rush orders and carry an average turn time of 3-4 weeks.

MIS-PRINTS / DAMAGES: In the event that a mis-printed and/or damaged/defective garment makes its way into your order please contact your customer service rep on how to proceed. Depending on the extent of the damage we will either offer a credit for the damaged piece with a return or fix the items in question. Verification to the extent of the problem will be required and a return of the order may be necessary for confirmation.

OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS 
* Claims for damages, defects or shortages must be submitted in writing within 10 working days after the delivery of the product. 
* In the event of a reprint, ALL of the original order must be returned. 
* Bandwagon's liability shall be limited to the stated sales price of any defective goods. We will not be liable for any consequential damages such as profit loss etc. 
* For legal purposes, the venue for any dispute shall be Kansas City, Missouri U.S.A.

* Cancellation of an order after it has been placed will result in charges for any set up or pre-press costs incurred before cancellation.
